"Nemean" Tactical Combat Knife

  • Knife: Named for the vicious monster of Greek mythology, the Nemean Lion, this new design is a fierce combat grade tactical weapon and universal utility tool. This knife is in the collection of our nation's top knife combat training center. The large blade has one of my superior tactical hollow grinds with sweeping, rounded grind terminations, and yields a razor-keen cutting edge backed up with plenty of .200" thick spine. The blade has a near full-length top swage to offer a decreased point profile without sacrificing spine strength. I've added two inches of my aggressive "Vampire" rip teeth serrations for tough cutting requirements, and the knife has a tall thumb rise and front quillon to offer great safety to the hand. The blade is fully tapered for balance, with spine filework extending from the swage to the butt. I designed this knife to have a heavy rear bolster area for impact resistance, a large hawk's bill for quick removal from the sheath, and a 5/16" through-tang lanyard hole for security. The balance point is at the forefinger groove, heavily bolstered with 304 stainless steel for zero care and high strength and toughness. The bolsters are dovetailed and hold an unusual pair of Micarta handle scales. This brown, bead blasted Micarta is reinforced with thick, coarse canvas matt, for a great pattern and excellent tactile grip security, as well as a distinctive look. The handle is bedded and secured with eight 304 stainless steel pins. This waterproof handle is very solid and uniform, will not flake, deform, change or loosen, ever.
  • Sheath: The sheath is one of my combat grade, waterproof, tension fit models, made from hot-formed double thickness kydex, 1/4" thick welts of 5052H32 corrosion resistant aluminum, and secured with nickel plated steel Chicago screws. The reversible belt loops will accommodate a standard 1.75" military web utility belt, and should hang on most MOLLE gear or PALS webbing as well as any belt or tactical gear.
  • This is a real tactical combat knife, ready for deployment, or universal utility use.

Thanks, T. H.!
